The Use Of REGISTRATIONS QUESTION

Unread post by JDavis »

Hi Guys :

It might sound " strange " but I have never used " Registrations " up to now.
As far as I know I am not the only one.

I have always believed Creating Registrations was interesting for Giggers only.

Apparently creating Registrations is a very useful tool for All Users.

I remember there has been Someone ( in the past ) who has made a complete written Article HOW and WHY to create Registrations.

I would be very grateful if one of you would be able to upload this complete Article here, plse.

I understand now home users, like me, are creating Registrations often too. Am I right ?

Thanks in advance for helping me ( maybe other members too ? ) out.
Best regards, Jeff

Hi Jeff.

Use of registrations or / and OTS is very individual or about personal taste.
Both is great tools.

The tutorials I think you thinking of is probably to find at another site.

Here is a video that may help, and there are several at YT:

Fred Smith on the PSR Tutorial Forum has produced many You tube videos on registrations.

I'm a home user also interested in registrations now, though I never used them before. I think they might suit some of the features on my 720 very well, so I want to try to use them.

I appreciated this tutorial. It's easy to understand and to follow along with, so helped to get used to using the registrations even though it's really for the chord looper.

The management of registrations and their files is still something I have to fully figure and get comfortable with. I've not seen many tutorials/videos for that.
