Hi folks,
I have had a Yamaha G100-212 series 3 with pedals for over 20 years, it's Made in Japan, serial No.1441, on wheels and in excellent condition. I long ago gave up playing because I was, frankly, dreadful. I re-discovered this amp during house renovations and I'm now intending to sell it to a more loving home. Having checked the old t'internet I have absolutely zero idea how much this may be worth as the valuations seem to be between £100-£900. Although I accept that I am an idiot, I don't want to confirm it publicly by asking too much or too little for this item. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated and a small donation given to the site on completion of sale. Many thanks.

Re: G100-212 SERIES 3 ADVICE NEEDED
Hi Goofy, Welcome to the forum and the string section.
Prices are always a bit difficult, an amp like yours don't come up for sale very often.
This doesn't necessarily mean that it goes at high prices, but they have their fans as well.
I found a Yamaha G-100 III head some time ago for about 80£ , that was dead cheap.

Try to find ended/sold actions and sales, that will give a realistic market price.
You'll have to give it a try to find out if the pots have gone scratchy over the years.
I's VERY COOL that you also have the original pedal for it.
Best Regards
Peter

Re: G100-212 SERIES 3 ADVICE NEEDED
Thanks for the advice Buzzard. If it's not worth that much I might just tuck it away for another 20 years. I'll let you know if I sell it and how much i get. Take care.

Re: G100-212 SERIES 3 ADVICE NEEDED
Derek I think it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it hence the wide price fluctuations. For someone "just looking fo an amp" it won't be worth much, probably £90-£150 whereas if someone is looking for this specific amp in good condition they may be willing to pay more.
It's a nice amp, reminds me of the Roland JC-120
