Re: SY99 files on the net
Hi folks,
I'm still after a few PD-Disks for my SY99... and I hope that someone out there has some of these still at hand and is willing to share so I can complete my collection...
Here's what I'm still missing:
PDD-SY99-11/12 = TX16W Super Sax (1 MB, 2 Disks)
PDD-SY99-39 = Mixed Soundeffects (7 Samples / 8 Voices)
PDD-SY99-40 = Chor, Mandoline, Soundtrack (5 Samples / 8 Voices)
Any of the missing disks above are welcome... like to get as a .zip or .rar-file. So if you want to help please drop me a private message. Thanks in advance...

Re: SY99 files on the net
Hi, I got some of them, but also in my collection, still a lot of disks are missing . Attached, you find my PDD collection.
@Admin: As the disks are public domain, I think they are free to share, even if they were sold in the past (maybe some kind of service fee). If it is not okay to publish them here, please remove them and leave me a note.

Re: SY99 files on the net
Might be time to revisit this subject and try to track down these files again. They must be out there somewhere?

Re: SY99 files on the net
That would be incredible, of course, for obsessive completist types like myself. A few more WAVE/DATA binary images for Waveblade users would also be amazing, but one thing at a time. Many of the TX16W samples from the missing sets are available, but without the patches...
Re: SY99 files on the net
Great that there is new interest in this topic.
But like e.g. Miks said: Also nothing new over here. I even bought a "10.000 SY sounds" CD on eBay and visit the the SY77/SY99 Facebook group regularly, but there is also nothing that we don´t have already apart from some individual sound collections or single sound files. If I remember correctly, there are just two interesting new commercially available e-piano collections at budget price offered by a guy on facebook, but the creator currently only supports some uncommon payment service.

Re: SY99 files on the net
Hi,
Bob Grey, one of the iconic sound programmers of the era has an eBay shop for many synths including the SY range
The only thing is that you may find you already have the sounds as a lot of his stuff was pirated, but I would say there is a moral obligation then to legally purchase them if you are using them.

Re: SY99 files on the net
I was wondering if the SY99 Pre-set 2 voices are available.
I have downloaded the SY Manager program to try out and the included FACTRY99.sym file is Pre-set 1.
Tried various PD collections but no luck to date.
Thanks

Re: SY99 files on the net
Disregard my last - I sent an email to Jon of SY Manager and he sent me the file of both Presets.
