Acoustic guitar and THR10
I've been playing with acoustic settings on my recently aquired THR10 and really surprised by the quality of sound.
Playing the only acoustic I have with a pick-up, a 20 year old Collings D-3 Dred with a Carl McIntyre passive piezo pick up.
Using a slightly tweaked Piezo setting from the THR standard library. Really, really nice! Wouldn't hesitate to try a small acoustic gig or jam with a THR. For a larger gig would probably either mic it or try the line-out, aka HP jack. My old live gig set-up was a Condenser mic into one PA channel and the pick up in another slightly panned. Here's an link to what it sounded like with the old set-up. Will try to post another latter on with the THR.

Nicely played there Richard, thanks for sharing
I don't have a THR here but I do have the VOX Adio Air GT. Never been a big fan of piezo pickups and on-board preamps but will run some of these acoustics I have here through it and see how it goes. Will also try the IK Multimedia iRig Acoustic Stage through it.

Re: Acoustic guitar and THR10
Never been a fan of piezo pickups either which is why I've always used the piezo to DI with notch and EQ, in conjunction with a small diaphragm condenser mic. The discovery of hearing the passive piezo into the THR with less of the obvious quack is a little surprising to me. More experimentation into live sound application and recording to come. Anyway, I'm finding the THR more useful as an acoustic rig. Certainly fun with electric but more of a novelty. I have other choices for that.

Hi Richard.
I took the liberty of changing your link to an embedded clip.
Btw, that was a pleasant to listen to.

Very accomplished performance there Rick.
You certainly get a wide range of expression in your playing.
LOVE the vocal harmonies. Good Clarity through thoughtful miking and measured use of the PA.

Hi Richard.
If a good second hand THR-10C should come your way, I think it may have sounds that you find more interesting.
It will do the same in aco , bass and flat mode, but the other amp models are a bit more mellow, compared to the regular THR-10
