4000 Posts and Counting

Unread post by Derek » Tue Aug 28, 2018 4:40 pm

Yikes!! I thought I would mark my 4,000'th post here, by posting about it! 8O

When making my last post, I saw I was on 3,999....

I think on EX5Tech before it went down I was over the 3,000 mark.

Hard to believe it is over ten years since I joined Yamaha Forums (as it was then) after acquiring the SY77 that Clyde had "persuaded" me that I needed...

Hopefully most of the posts have been useful! ;)

Derek Cook

I think the KEY to YamahaMuscian's success is that we have an EXPERIENCED group of MODs here with a Can-do attitude.

People are discovering that they can get answers here, uncluttered by corporate rhetoric and without

getting involved in name-calling, flame-wars and other "unpleasantries" that often frequent other Forums . . . .

If WE don't know, we probably know someone who might - or we know WHERE to look for more info . . .

and THAT is an ASSET. (Y)

I remember when Peter <Buzzard> joined. I couldn't believe that picture of his lounge with the amazing display of

Guitars hanging up all around the walls . . .

About then, the String Section exploded and we now have a veritable army of very well informed people . . . .

(Post-wise, you are catching me up Peter  )

I've even learned stuff I never knew about Guitars and their use. ((i))

Just as in the Synth section . . . . MUCH is possible to renovate and restore instruments that have had a hard life

for whatever reason.

Our burgeoning membership PROVES that what is available here, is difficult to keep Secret . . .

Long may it continue . .
