Welcome to the forum and the string section.Real-JJCale wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 11:37 am These amps are still fantastic soundmachines and worth to be treated well and carefully preserved (although their finish have a remarkable high quality and they're built like a tank).
I'm saying that as a tube "fetishist" who owns more than a few amps as working tools for different music styles.
My DGs are part of my amp-pool and the only ones which are able to cover all styles of music with a convincing quality (live & studio).
My dream would be a reissue (with the same built- & sound quality) of the DG 130A BUT as a stereo-version with tap-controlled Delays etc.
That would be the perfect amp for so many users...
Best regards

P.S. strange to be the first poster here! - and many THX to David Krause for his engagement towards the DG-Users all over the world!
Don't want to be a grandstander, understand my post as an admiration for this peace of (sound-) art by Yamaha.
Thank you for your warm welcome, Peter !
Is there sound, when you plug the guitar straight into the Effect Return?Bustamelody wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 10:28 pm My Yamaha dg130h has stopped outputting a signal. Powers on, display is fine, but no sound.
Please provide ALL of the details of your setup including all the components in the circuit, the cabling between components and the know and switch settings. Here's hoping someone knows something
Nor did you comment on or confirm this statement:Is there sound, when you plug the guitar straight into the Effect Return?
The more info you provide the easier it can be for someone to help. The most common reason for this behavior is the "EFFECT BLEND" pot on the back of the amplifier! If it is all the way to the left and no signal is being fed into the "Effect Return" socket, nothing can be heard!
I know what you mean. I certainly didn't mean to come across as questioning your abilities. The latter question I didn't answer because I guess I thought it was obvious that I'd make sure the effects know wasn't all the way to dry.
Those two statements, by themselves, suggest that something is actually broken as opposed to being configured wrong. It has worked this way for years, and now it just faded out and now silence.
The Yamaha turns on fine, all dial and motors turn as they should, and the display is also fine.
