Those are some beautiful sounding pianos. I understand why you are so happy!

Yes, definitely!

Now I will have something real to compare piano VSTs, even if it is not a Grand. But has longer bass strings than Baby Grands :D (I even checked that on the studio who sold me the U3H, as they had a Baby Grand also and the bass was more room-filling on the U3H). Now I have to do some room acoustic conditioning. It is a 10 sq meters room, with 3.2m high ceiling. I have several ideas to try. It is not bad sounding right now, but can be improved.

I should say that coming from digital pianos, using some basic weighted YAMAHA GHS and also a Studiologic SL88 Studio, I am adapting pretty fast to the real thing. So, yes, I am a happy camper

It is not an expensive purchase, if that matters, and for sure keeps value better than electronics. I got this one, which was manufactured in 1976 and fully refurbished in 2016, for less than I paid for the Genos... Imagine Genos value in 44 years

Looks in very good condition. I am not really a piano man myself and certainly would not have room for one! But I appreciate their beauty.

Those Black Yamaha Uprights are superb. Better than the Brown non-shiny ones . . . .

Just before I was made redundant in 2009 from the Uni Music Dept I worked at - We had just had a complete refurbishment of all our areas.

Part of that was new Practice rooms. It was during the Summer Holidays that 10 new Yamaha Uprights arrived.

I moved them on a skate board one by one into the new rooms, checked them over and took their numbers . . . .

IMO they represent great value for money. They sound superb, and can be as expressive as you are capable of
