I'm not a style maker but have a vague notion of the work that goes into making one. The video was very good, clear and understandable, and if you ever got an urge to make more I'd strongly applaud that! Someday I will try style making and your program will be used. Thank you
Thanks to Jeff for encouraging the making of a video. I wouldn't have as I don't make styles, but I appreciate it very much.
hi aori11a,
Thank you for kind words; I'm glad you found that video informative

I'm not a musician, but that doesn't prevent me to play on keyboard
The main reason why I made those tutorials is, to encourage those who feel creative, but don't know where to start.

Sorry, Bogdan ... my age problem, I guess ... where can I find your very useful video ... or ... did I misunderstand everything ???
Regards, Jeff
You can find it here Jeff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuKKFgudRfc and now there is also a link in the first post that Bogdan made, just under the download text. Find "Here's the video ............... "

Thank you so much for your reaction and the Youtube information.
I would also be very grateful to know your first name.
It is a lot easier for communication !
Best wishes, Jeff
Hi Jeff,
I am Mary Lynch. I started using aprilla many years ago when I needed a username and couldn't think of one, but there was a motorbike outside my window that had 'aprilla' on it and I thought that would do just fine. I've been using it since. You can call me whatever you like, I don't mind these things.
I've been wondering what you use XGWorks for, and if you were starting afresh what you would use now, still XGWorks or.... I followed a tutorial on XGWorks a lot of years ago, but can't remember why I wanted to learn it! You are not the only one with an age problem But we won't let that stop us
Wow, Bogdan.
I just saw your program but haven't really tested it yet. I see that Y-Style 16ch has all the necessary options for creating chord variations.
I'm following the development of the program and thank you very much for your effort.
Regards, Casper

hi Casper,
I'm glad to hear that you find the program useful... that was the idea at making it
As it is right now, the program has all known SFF2/CASM features implemented and so there's currently nothing more to add.
Hi, i am new Genos2 owner, coming from Korg Pa4x,
and it looks like without all these helpful utilities ,we wouldn't have really any way to do proper styles.
We surely thank you for that !!!!!
i downoaded your software, and i want to ask if there is any way of copying these1-8 tracks to other variations as well .
Why? well, sometimes let's say we need a 4bar pattern playing all tracks from 9-16 on all chords but not at (1+5) .
On that chord (1+5) we want to play an upbeat pattern ,so we need all tracks again, but playing upbeat this time.
Where is the problem :
we have to do all several times, each time moving one track, then back again and so on ,till we get the 8 upbeat tracks to 1-8 .
Would it be easy to add a ''copy'' function between variations?
This way, we could have the first pattern on variation A ,the second on Variation B , then move all tracks from B(8-16) to Variation A (1-8) , leaving Variation B totally empty ,
so then we could have all chords playing on Variation A (9-16) and when we press (1+5) the pattern changes to upbeat using (1-8).
