JTC Jam Of The Month – Laura Klinkert
Laura Klinkert is a Colombian guitarist who started playing guitar at the age of 12.
She studied classical guitar in different conservatories in Bogota, and after a couple of years decided to change her instrument for an electric guitar and began studying rock and jazz, first at a conservatory, and then on her own.
In 2008 she began her professional music studies with an emphasis on Jazz performance at El Bosque University in Bogotá. Laura gained her bachelor degree in 2012.
Laura has learned from many great guitarists and musicians such as Leonardo Guzman, William Perez and Jorge Currea. She has also played with different artists and local bands. On January of 2014 she played at the NAMM Show as a GruvGear artist with Anouck Andre (France) among others.
