NME The Cover 2024-2025 – Spotlight on Emerging Artists
NME has announced the release of The Cover 2024–2025, a premium hardback publication that captures the energy and imagination of the year’s most compelling new artists. Now in its second edition, this 300-page coffee table book brings together bespoke photography, in-depth interviews, and previously unseen imagery from a diverse lineup of breakthrough musicians.
The collection includes features on Irish rap trio Kneecap, Brit-nominated singer-songwriter Lola Young, French alt-pop artist Oklou, K-Pop innovators LE SSERAFIM, Sudanese Canadian folk voice Mustafa, and country artist Tanner Adell, among many others. Each profile is presented with bold visual design and editorial care, offering readers a window into the creative journeys of 50 rising artists.

A Collector’s Edition for Music Enthusiasts
Curated by the NME editorial team, The Cover 2024–2025 continues the legacy of NME’s commitment to championing new voices in music. The book is part of NME’s flagship franchise, The Cover, which relaunched in 2023 to spotlight emerging talent from around the world. This new volume builds on that mission, bridging the publication’s storied past with its forward-looking vision.

Karen Gwee, Managing Editor (Music) at NME Networks, describes the project as a tribute to artistic risk-taking and collaboration. She notes the contributions of photographers, stylists, and creatives who helped bring each feature to life, and highlights the importance of celebrating the vibrant community that fuels contemporary music culture.
