UK Guitar Show 2018
Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th September 2018 at Olympia London

An inclusive two day event for players of acoustic and electric guitars designed to help players improve, learn more about guitars, get inspiration from artists and try/buy all the latest gear.
The UK Guitar Show will also actively target beginners and a younger audience. The show will become the leading guitar event for the UK and give the music industry a significant marketing opportunity to promote their brand, demo their products and drive sales.

Who is organising it? 

Future – publishers of the Guitarist, Total Guitar, Guitar Techniques, Bass and musicradar.com.
Future runs the London Drum Show, the London Bass Guitar Show and World Guitar Day. Having acquired the events in 2016 Future has developed the show content and grown the audience of the London Drum Show by 23% and the London Bass Guitar Show by 22%.

What can visitors expect to experience? 

The UK Guitar Show will be packed with things for guitarists to do, giving them any number of reasons to purchase a ticket. The content being planned includes:

Tuition Clinics for all levels and style of players as well as including beginners/ukulele clinics and female only classes.

Technical Sessions such as ‘setting up your amp’, ‘how to get a good rock sound’, ‘recording advice’ and ‘looping masterclasses’.

The Main Stage will host leading acoustic and electric artists performing individual shows designed to inspire visitors and give them the opportunity to learn from their heroes.

Modern Acoustic Workshop – The UK Guitar Show visitors can learn how to play percussive techniques and setting up a good acoustic sound.

The Guitar Garage where visitors can bring their guitar for a check up, restringing or a 60,000 note service. For those looking to play publicly The UK Guitar Show will also cover topics such as band/musician marketing and breaking into session playing.

Vintage Zone – Star guitars will be on display in the UK Guitar Show’s Vintage Zone, alongside rarities from top collectors and retailers.
