Welcome To Amp World at MusikMesse 2018
Amp World at Musikmesse 2018 will be presenting heads and cabs from many leading brands and also giving you the opportunity to try out combinations of guitar amplifiers and speakers at the touch of a button.
In the new ‘Amp World’ area at Musikmesse 2018 you can see and test amplifiers and cabs from 16 companies all of which are interconnected through a switching system. By simply pressing a button it is possible to combine all the stacks quickly and easily. Amp World is located in an acoustically separate area of Hall 9.0.
Covering a floor space of 150 square meters, visitors can see and hear products from Blackstar, Diezel, Engl, EVH, Friedman, Hughes and Kettner, Karl’s, Morgan, Orange, Peavey, Pedaltrain, Randall, Schmidt Array, Suhr, Synergy and Victory.
To create Amp World, hundreds of meters of cable and high quality switches must be put in place to combine the individual components. This ensures that it is possible to switch between all the different head / cab combinations without loss of sound or delay. Guitarists can also test stacks through a remote control and try them with a large selection of guitars. It is also possible to do A /B comparisons of different combinations.

Musikmesse will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 11 to 14 April 2018. Although primarily a trade show it is open to the public on Friday and Saturday and a public visitors ticket is available for Friday afternoon (from 2:00 p.m.) and Saturday, which is valid for the entire period. This ticket also entitles the holder to use the local public transport services operated by the public transport authority of RMV in Frankfurt and the region. In addition, Musikmesse visitors receive a free bracelet with which they can attend the Musikmesse Festival events at a reduced price or even for free.
