Yamaha Drums Launched at NAMM 2017

This year, NAMM 2017 also sees the release of a new Yamaha Rydeen. Inspired by the Japanese God of Thunder, this kit is designed to bring quality and pro-level features to the aspiring drummer.

The Rydeen is available in two 5 piece setups, both featuring:
6 Ply Poplar Shells
Yamaha’s Professional Series Tom Holders
Genuine Yamaha Double Braced Hardware Set
A Professional Grade Hi Hat Clutch
Chain Drive Bass Drum Pedal

All of which means that despite entry level status, this kit comes with some serious hardware. Over the last 50 years Yamaha have really nailed the reliability and sturdiness off their hardware, so it’s great to see some of their classic innovations coming to the Rydeen.
