Yamaha PSR-E373. Entry Level Never Sounded So Good!
Entry level keyboards are usually not that exciting. They provide the basics and enough to get you started but rarely does the small cash outlay result in anything particularly special.
Enter the new Yamaha PSR-E373! Technically an entry level keyboard but one that punches way above it’s weight.
New Sound – More Possibilities
The PSR-E373 comes equipped with a 61 key touch-sensitive keyboard which means that,. depending on how hard or softly the keys are struck, they instantly react with the corresponding loud or soft tone. This feature gives players more dynamic control over their music, with an authentic depth that makes any performance more expressive. It is the perfect choice for music school lessons.
The most exciting feature however is Yamaha’s newly developed tone generator LSI, which delivers a really noticeable improvement both in sound quality and high-quality effects on previous models.
Players have a comprehensive library with 622 instrument voices, including guitar, bass, strings, sax, trumpet drums and percussion, as well as classic keyboard instruments like piano and organ. You can also layer two different voices across the entire keyboard creating a Dual Voice.
Next we have the new Super Articulation Lite Voices feature. This allows players to authentically reproduce the complex sounds and playing methods that are unique to certain instruments. Every acoustic nuance from a piano’s resonance to the vibration and distortion of a guitars strings are faithfully reproduced.
The Effects
The PSR-E373 comes with a Digital Signal Processor “DSP.” This feature allows players to apply numerous onboard effects to the musical piece and adapt it to their performance. By selecting a DSP effect, it is automatically added to the main voice part.
Smart And Connected
With the “Smart Chord” option, players can choose between two different ways to play, either with one finger or “multi”, which includes all chords and notes. This unique feature allows one to play chords using simple techniques, which improves every performance. Players can also connect their PSR-E373 to their smart devices to digitally record and enhance their music. This also includes the Rec‘n‘Share app that lets players record audio and videos, as well as songs from their favourite music library and share performances with the world.

The PSR-E373 will be available in October 2020 at participating Yamaha dealers. Price is expected to be $199.99
