Yamaha THR II – The World’s Most Popular Portable Amp Gets A Makeover

Just about anyone who plays electric guitar will have either used or at least be aware of the Yamaha THR range of portable amplifiers. They look great and sound superb. However having been released way back in 2012 they were starting to appear a little dated in the specs department. Enter the Yamaha THR II series. A revisioned THR that brings it bang up to date.

There are three models in the new lineup. The THR10II, THR10II Wireless and THR30II Wireless.

All THR-II models feature Bluetooth connectivity for audio playback, the “THR Remote” mobile editor app, and third-party footswitch support.

THR10II Wireless and THR30II Wireless also feature a built-in rechargeable battery and Line 6 wireless receiver. You will need the Line 6 Relay G10T transmitter which is sold separately in order to make use of the wireless features of the these amps.
